Have you ever wondered how you were created? I don’t mean when your parents created you but when your SOUL was created & how it was created!
I can recall as a child asking where we came from & getting the same answer from my parents that most kids probably get, although I went away satisfied, that question has stayed with me. Being the curious soul that I am, I recently did some research on it & there were various beliefs which I’ll share with you:
There are varied beliefs about how a soul is created, often depending on the specific spiritual or philosophical traditions involved. Here are prevalent perspectives:
1. Eternal Existence
- Some spiritualists believe that souls are eternal and uncreated, existing as part of a divine source or universal consciousness. In this view, souls have no beginning or end and are simply expressions of the infinite.
2. Divine Creation
- A common belief is that each soul is individually created by a divine force (e.g., God, Source, or Spirit). This creation often happens at or before birth and represents a unique spark of divinity with its own purpose and destiny.
3. Fragments of the Divine
- Another perspective is that souls are fragments or emanations of a universal energy or divine being. Each soul is thought to be a unique expression of this energy, sent forth to experience, learn, and evolve.
4. Soul Evolution
- Some spiritualists believe in a process of soul evolution. A soul might begin as a basic energy form and grow more complex and self-aware through various incarnations or experiences across lifetimes.
5. Karmic Creation
- In traditions influenced by karma or reincarnation, the creation of a soul may be tied to its past lives or actions. This view often posits that the soul is on an eternal journey, shaped and reshaped by its experiences rather than being “created” at a specific moment.
6. Vibration and Energy
- In metaphysical circles, a soul might be seen as a specific vibration or frequency of universal energy. Its “creation” is the moment it becomes distinct from the larger universal consciousness, often for the purpose of learning or fulfilling a role.
7. Pre-Birth Agreements
- Some spiritualists believe that souls exist in a pre-incarnate state and choose to incarnate for specific lessons or experiences. The “creation” of the soul in this context could refer to the point where it individuates and decides on its journey.
Summary
While spiritualists may not agree on one singular explanation for the soul’s creation, most views centre around the soul being part of or connected to a divine source, with its existence tied to spiritual growth, learning, and a higher purpose.
After reading these beliefs, numbers 5 & 6 resonated with me most, so I sat with it for a while & allowed my intuition to guide me & this story came to me:
Close your eyes and imagine this: before time as you know it began, there was only light. A vast, infinite sea of shimmering energy, pulsing with love, wisdom, and potential. This light was everything and nothing, a cosmic tapestry of unity. And yet, within its boundless expanse, a spark flickered—a tiny, radiant ember that longed to explore, to experience, to grow. That spark was you.
You weren’t “born” in the way you think of birth. Instead, you emerged, a perfect thread of the universe itself. You were a vibration, a frequency so unique that it had never existed before and would never exist again. This vibration carried the essence of your soul—your gifts, your lessons, your purpose, all woven into the energy of who you are.
In that moment of individuation, you weren’t separate from the whole, but you became distinct. You were both part of the divine and your own luminous being, a co-creator in the great dance of existence. And as your light grew brighter, it resonated with the great laws of the universe—one of those being karma, the sacred rhythm of cause and effect.
You chose to come forth into the world. Not by accident, but with intention. You saw the opportunities that this life would bring, the challenges that would help you evolve, and the gifts that only you could bring to others. Your journey wasn’t random; it was guided by the agreements you made before stepping into this life—agreements made with yourself, with others, and with the universe itself.
And so, you stepped into this existence, not as a blank slate, but as a soul infused with wisdom, carrying the echoes of lives before and the potential for lives to come. Every experience, every choice, and every connection you’ve made has been part of the masterpiece you are creating with your life.
Even now, your soul hums with the vibrations of its creation. You can feel it when you sit in stillness, when you listen to the whisper of your intuition, or when your heart fills with awe at the beauty around you. That vibration reminds you that you are more than this moment, more than your challenges. You are a spark of the infinite, learning, growing, and creating your unique rhythm in the symphony of existence.
And as you read this, you might feel a flicker of recognition—a deep knowing that the story of your soul’s creation isn’t something you’ve heard, but something you’ve always remembered.
